Safe - Veteran's Day more special

 I placed a small flag on desk for Veteran's Day.  I love how my new friend Joyce Orrell expressed it,

"Today we celebrate Veterans Day, 

a day of appreciation and gratitude 

for all who have served and are serving 

in the United States Armed Forces. 

Thank you for your courage and dedication. 

Thank you for our freedom. 

The sacrifices you have made on our behalf are beyond my comprehension, 

a thank you seems so small but it comes from my heart, 

thank you Veterans!"

Dan reported the travel was long and not much sleep.  He ate a brat along the way where they were made famous, and he was online with a few family and friends, and has reported he arrived safe in country. They’ll head out to camp in a few days so could be on his way as of this post.  The weather is strange freezing at night and up to 85 during the day.  I can see why hand warmers are needed.
