So many community volunteers where a part of the decorating out at Balboa, the Navy, a church youth group, Southwest College, Mercury Insurance and of course the Blue Star Moms. Together the halls were decked out with ribbons, stars, pictures, thank you cards and the individual trees along with gift bags dawned each room. Lynn Rozelle and I enjoyed our time singing Christmas carols, fluffing trees, telling stories and laughing with our fellow comrades; mothers from all branches of the military!Joyce I see why you love this day so much! Would love to meet some of these young men. Praying for they're speedy recovery. I know the show of love and support today makes a big difference. God bless our men and women in uniform both here and abroad!
Army Jack made an appearance on the floor, I knew Danny would love a picture as Jack seldom appears in public. He had other servicemen with him...Navy Jack, Marine Jack and Air Force Jack. They have been mistaken for brothers as they all look so much a like! If it weren't for the hats it would be hard to tell them apart. Army Jack sends a big wooah! to Dan and the Big Red One over at Camp Liberty.
